Currituck, Dare, and Pasquotank Gardening Workshop

Free workshop designed to help people interested in community or home gardening gain the skills they need to make their gardens a success.

 

This program is hosted by the Extension Master Gardener program with the supporting grant from the North Carolina Community Gardener Partners.

 

All materials and lunch will be provided.  Lunch will only be available for participants who preregister before June 17th, 2015.  The workshop will be taught by a panel of experts. 

 

 Planned topics include irrigation and water conservation, composting methods, identification and control of fire ants, local vegetable gardening, labor saving techniques for the garden, NC Community Gardener Partners/Local Foods Council, home fruit production, foods around us.
