2016 Western North Carolina Gardening Symposium

"Our Gardens in a World of Change"
The speakers will be offering ideas on developing resiliency as we learn to cope with changes that effect our gardens and ourselves.
The keynote speaker will be Laura Lengnick, a soil scientist and leader in sustainable agriculture and climate resilience planning. She'll open the day with “Cultivating Resilience in a World of Change” and close with “What Path to a Resilient Future.”
We'll also hear from Tamara Houston of NOAA, extension agent Meghan Baker, and our own Linda Alford.
This program offers five hours of continuing education.
The fee is $50. until September 5 and $55. after that.
All registrations must be received by October 5.
